GGG.

Something I’ve been meaning to cover for awhile. Dan Savage was originally the sex columnist who inspired me to share fun sex stories, experiences and advice on my blog and now here I am again quoting him in all of his sexual brilliance.

Why? Because its something I’ve been meaning to cover for awhile now, and something I’ve gotten alot of questions about in the past. Questions about what to do to make things more exciting or what to do when one partner in the relationship isn’t quite as willing or sexually adventurous as the other. What do, what do? First of all I always link them Dan because he has put it the most simply and straight forward as far as finding equilibrium in bed goes. His catch phrase really speaks to what it means when it comes to equality paired with sex and he notes both partners need to be GGG:

Thank you urbandictionary for the simplest definition yet.

GGG=key. But my favorite thing to stress is communication, because if you haven’t conquered that (or at least have become familiar with the basics) than you can’t discuss your GGG characterisitcs.

Step one is definitely getting comfortable with communicating and talking about sex; yes its awkward sometimes and its hard to do at first but it gets easily the more often you do it and the better you start to understand each other. And the positives far outweigh the negatives because finally there will be a mutual understanding of what you like, don’t like, what you’d like try and what you want to stay as far away from as possible. Frankly its discouraging if one partner isn’t willing to be as GGG as the other which is why its important to have an open conversation and discuss any concerns with each other. Its your sex life and making sure you and your partner understand each others wants and needs is crucial to making it successful and enjoyable!
